Today was the second lunch lecture. Irene Sopjes presented the company Nelissen and talked about several projects. One big project was the Natlab 2.0, which is the former monumental physical laboratory of Philips. This laboratory is transferred into a movie theater (Plaza Futura) and restaurant. Some difficult aspects were the fire safety and the room acoustics, but also the sound insulation in between the rooms.

The second presentation was given by Sander Wolfs of Cofely. Cofely focusses more on building services. The presentation focused on the operation after the building completion. With smart technologies Cofely tries to create effective and intelligent systems. Cofely uses data given by the system and analyses this to improve the need of the costumers.

This lunch lecture was visited by 35 students.
