Study Trip Russia day 13

English

About 9 in the morning, everyone started to wake up. Tour du Kay would be taking us to the Kremlin today. After a good breakfast with the necessary coffee, the time had come to go to the Kremlin. We arrived just in time to see the changing of the guards ceremony. The time till lunch was filled with the visiting of the multiple churches and cathedrals in the center part of the Kremlin. Via the Red Square and past Lenin’s Mausoleum, we walked towards our Georgian lunch restaurant. After lunch, we went to the cathedral of Christ the Savior, an impressive cathedral situated at the river bank of River Moskva. Via the Novodevichy monastery, which was unfortunately wrapped in scaffolds, we went back to the hostel to get ready for the night. Dinner was enjoyed in the Stamkroeg, and was ended with a Jagermeister. We finished our evening with a night out at the party island of Moscow (and of course, celebrating Ola’s birthday in style.)
